4 Ways to Decorate Your Coop for Christmas

Decorating Your Coop for Christmas

We are counting down the days to Christmas here! We’ve had our first big snowfall and while my chickens don’t love the snow, it sure is pretty. I love decorating for Christmas and decorating the coop is no different. Some years I keep it very simple, and other years we do a bunch. This year is on the simpler side. But here are some fun ideas for you to “spruce” up your coop for Christmas.

Raising Happy Chickens posted this cute little coop. You don’t have to have an extravagant coop to make it cute for Christmas. Get some Christmas ornaments and a wreath and you're all done!

Even Jennifer Garner decorates her coop! There is something so nostalgic about colored lights isn’t there?

I love this idea from Karen over at The Art of Doing Stuff. The greenery is simple and elegant all at the same time!

Decorating your coop for Christmas should be fun! If something as simple as hanging a wreath on the door brings you joy, then do it. If you like to add a bit more twinkle and have electricity, go ahead and light it up! The Christmas season is short and can be overwhelming at the same time. If decorating your chicken coop brings you (and your chickens!) a little bit of joy, it’s all worth it.

Until next time,
