5 Outdoor Centerpieces for Entertaining Guests

This is a centerpiece for an outdoor baby shower I put together.
Living in Minnesota, we appreciate the warmer months of summer! One of our favorite things is having people over for a BBQ or hosting fun parties. We don’t always set table decorations; most of the time, it’s all very informal. However, every once in a while, it’s fun to spruce it up a bit!
Guess what? I'm not the most creative person, but that doesn't stop me from jazzing up our tables! Decorating can be a blast, even for us non-creative types. Trust me, if I can do it, you can too! Haha!
Below are a few table centerpiece ideas that I’ve done myself, and a few that I’ve gathered from the internet that I’d like to try.

Chargers, candles, and flowers are always a good idea!

This is a simple and sweet birthday bouquet made from mason jars and flowers we bought from Walmart!

Greenery adds elegance to any table. This was our daughter’s Sweet 16 party.
These are all ideas that have lived in my head and I carried them out with little to no cost. Honestly? Mason jars are a go-to for me because they are so versatile and can be used for many things.

Flowers from our garden in a jar I already had. This little mood booster cost me nothing!
Below are some ideas that I plan on trying very soon. If you plan to use food for a centerpiece and your party is outside, I highly recommend getting fly fans! They've been a game changer for our outdoor events.
Charcuterie boards are all the rage right now. We have these on a regular basis at our house. However, I haven’t used them as a centerpiece….yet!
This beautiful centerpiece from Simplicity in the South is made from items from a dollar store! Beautiful and affordable.
The bottom line, there are multiple centerpiece ideas out there to host an incredible party. I don’t think it’s necessary to do these things every time you have guests in your home. However, I also believe we’ve lost a little bit of the parts of life that make people feel special. It’s important to celebrate the people in our lives that we love and care about. Adding a personal touch to your next outdoor event might be a great way to do that!
Until next time,
