Outdoor Baby Shower Centerpiece Ideas for Your Next Event

Updated: Sep 27

Baby shower centerpiece for a table

This is a centerpiece for an outdoor baby shower I put together.

Living in Minnesota, we truly appreciate the warm summer months! One of our favorite things is hosting BBQs and fun outdoor parties. While we usually keep things casual and informal, every now and then, it’s fun to spruce up the table with some simple decorations.

Now, I’m not the most creative person, but that doesn’t stop me from jazzing up our tables! Decorating can be fun and easy, even for non-creative types. Trust me, if I can do it, you can too! Haha!

Easy and Affordable Centerpiece Ideas

Here are a few table centerpiece ideas that I’ve done myself, as well as some inspiration from the internet that I’m excited to try out. Whether you’re hosting a birthday party, a baby shower, or a casual get-together, these ideas are simple, affordable, and beautiful.

Go-To Table Centerpiece Ideas

1. Chargers, Candles and Flowers

Chargers, candles, and flowers are always a winning combination. They instantly add elegance to any table!

2. Mason Jar Birthday Bouquet

This simple birthday bouquet was made with mason jars and flowers I picked up at Walmart. It’s a sweet and affordable way to add some color to the table.

3. Greenery for Elegance

Adding greenery to your table is an easy way to create an elegant, timeless look. This centerpiece was for my daughter’s Sweet 16 party, and it was a hit!

Mason Jars: The Perfect Budget-Friendly Option

Honestly, mason jars are my go-to because they’re so versatile and can be used for all sorts of decorations. You can fill them with flowers, candles, or greenery, and they’ll always look great. Here’s one of my favorites: flowers from my garden in a jar I already had. This centerpiece cost me nothing and was such a cute mood booster!

Centerpiece Ideas I’m Excited to Try

Below are some inspiration ideas I plan to try at my next outdoor event. If you’re hosting a party outside and plan to use food as part of your centerpiece, I highly recommend getting fly fans! They’ve been a game-changer for us.

1. Charcuterie Boards as Centerpieces

Charcuterie boards are all the rage right now! We regularly enjoy them at our house, but I haven’t used one as a centerpiece yet. I’m excited to try this idea soon!

The Importance of Adding a Personal Touch

There are countless centerpiece ideas out there to help you host an incredible party, but it doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. You don’t need to go all out every time you have guests, but adding a personal touch to your next outdoor event can make your loved ones feel extra special.

In a world that’s often fast-paced and rushed, taking the time to celebrate the people we care about with something thoughtful like a homemade centerpiece can mean so much.

Until next time,
