Gramma’s Classic Creamy Potato Salad Recipe: A Family Favorite

Updated: Sep 27

Gramma’s Famous Potato Salad

I have awesome memories of the 4th of July. We love to celebrate our country’s freedom and all that goes along with it. Summertime food to me is watermelon, fruit pizza and my Gramma’s famous potato salad! After tasting this potato salad, you will never want to grab store bought again.

Why Gramma Elaine’s Potato Salad is the Best

Gramma Elaine’s potato salad is smooth and creamy with just the right amount of all the flavors to create a party in your mouth! Some people assume making potato salad is too complicated. I’m here to tell you it’s not! If you can boil potatoes and make a hardboiled egg, you’re set. I asked my Gramma for her recipe and much like many in her generation, she just “throws” it together. However, for me, she sat down and figured it out for all of us to enjoy!

Gramma’s Potato Salad Recipe

Why Family Recipes Matter

Growing up with Grammas and a Mom who were all incredible cooks and bakers has been a great gift to me. I honestly don’t “love” to be in the kitchen. That’s why here, I try to give you all easy-to-master recipes. That’s what I like! Haha!

However, when I think back to how I was raised, gathered around a table sharing a meal are some of my favorite memories. I know a lot of love went into those meals and these are the times I want our kids to remember too.

Life gets so busy. We need to know it’s okay to slow down and enjoy our friends and family. Sharing a meal is a great way to do this. And the 4th of July is one of those special times for us.

Until next time,
