Annie's Amazing Apple Crisp

Updated: Sep 29, 2020

Are you looking for an almost unbeatable recipe for apple crisp? Well, look no further! I have been perfecting this recipe for 20 years. The very first crisp I made was not good...just ask my husband. He will tell you! Haha! However, after some trial and error (lots of it), I’ve come out on top. Bring this apple crisp to your next get together and then send me a thank you note later! Haha! Just kidding. It’s no secret, I’m not a very good chef, but I can handle this and so can you!

Annie’s Apple Crisp Recipe

  • Spray 9x13 pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Fill bottom of pan with peeled, sliced apples--fill about ½-¾ full

Mix together and pour over apples:

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 2 tbs flour

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

In a separate bowl mix:

  • 2 sticks softened butter

  • 2 cups brown sugar

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats

Mix together and sprinkle over the apples. Bake for 1 hour or until bubbly.

This apple crisp won’t win any awards for being healthy...but it is a perfect fall recipe! I use this same recipe for peach and rhubarb crisp as well and they turn out great each time. Top with some whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and you’ll be set! Enjoy!

Until next time,
