Looking for a quick, fun and festive snack for your fall gatherings? Try these deviled egg pumpkins! Don’t worry, there’s no actual pumpkin in these cute little snacks, just a fun look that fits the season.
The best part? You can whip them up in about 10 minutes, especially if you already have some hard-boiled eggs on hand. My secret to perfect hard-boiled eggs? I use an air fryer! Set it to 265°F for 17 minutes, and you’ll get perfectly boiled eggs every time!
Deviled Egg Pumpkins Recipe
Ingredients:
6 hardboiled eggs
¼ cup mayo
½ tsp Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Dash of garlic powder
Paprika
Fresh chives
Directions:
Prepare the Eggs: Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks. Place the yolks in a bowl.
Make the Filling: Add the mayo, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika to the yolks. The paprika gives the filling that pumpkin-like orange color! Mix until smooth.
Fill the Eggs: Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
Add the Finishing Touches: Sprinkle a little extra paprika on top to enhance the orange color, then chop fresh chives to create little "pumpkin stems" and place them on top of each egg.
Enjoy! These cute snacks are sure to be a hit at any fall party!
