The Best Hard Boiled Eggs Ever

You guys!!! I have grown up and spent my entire adult life boiling eggs the “old-fashioned” way. To be honest, I don’t mind doing it that way, but recently, I read about people boiling their eggs in their air fryer! So, I thought I’d give it a shot and the results were AMAZING.

Normally, I take a dozen eggs and put them in a pot with cool water that reaches about an inch above the eggs. I then put the pot on the burner on medium/high heat. When it reaches a hard boil, I set my timer for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, I removed the eggs from the pot and let them air dry and cool on a paper towel. I have never had issues with doing it this way. They peel great every time.

But, since I’m more about convenience and simplicity in the kitchen, I decided to give my air fryer a try. Some people only do 6 eggs at a time, but I went next level and put 14 in! It will depend on the size of your air fryer.

I set my air fryer temp for 265 degrees and cooked for 17 minutes. Next time, I will probably cook for 19 minutes, but they are amazing! And, the best part? Super easy! I literally threw (okay, carefully set) the eggs in, set the temp and time and walked away.

I know some people throw their eggs in a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking process, but I’ve honestly never done that, and I didn’t this time either. It was so simple! And the eggs are delicious. It is going to definitely be my go-to way of boiling eggs.

I think we should can stop calling it “hard-boiled” and maybe more like “hard-fried” haha! Either way, I’m not going to be technical about that. Give the air fryer eggs a try! You will be so glad you did!

Until next time,
